Verbalrob : Annoyingly it's not surprising really. It seems to be pretty standard for company's to make it really easy to get in but difficult to get out.
stulec52 : I tried that before rob. Took 2 phone calls, each over 30 mins, ended up having to cancel that credit card and get a new one. Arse.
Verbalrob : As long as you remember you can cancel it towards the end of the 3 months.
stulec52 : peeps, is there a way to BUY PS+ ( I want 3 months only) but not subscribe?? the only option I can see will take money every 3 months even though I don't want them to. help !
Jonmau5 : I agree PinkE, lets have another Mirrors Edge Video!
El3et : @PINKe, I'd be happy with MS getting Xbox Ones Gaming feature working day one.
PINKe : How bout this: Instead of Chinny buying Stu lunch (Chinny lost a bet with Stu), Chinny makes another Mirrors Edge rooftop jog video. That chit was funny yo!
PINKe : I've been reading up on Microsofts abilities to make the Xbox One's TV feature work. It's looking a little iffy. Especially for day one release.
Jonmau5 : PvZ looks alright I guess, I only found the first one to be a minor distraction and the novelty wore off too quick.
Duffstuff123 : @Jason Gol@!er! : Oculus rift is looking interesting for sure but i will wait and see hopefully its at eurogamer, What did people think of the plants vs zombies game? it looks really fun to me
Jason Gol@!er! : Teh video to your right has 9 million views on youtube right now!
Jason Goll@!#!!er : 1080 oculus with unreal 4! Where is steambox?
Jason Goll@!#!!er : Not too late!
PINKe : Is it too late to announce any other games during this years E3?
Jason Gol@!er! : I can't believe Sony didn't announce D4 or The Last Guardian
Duffstuff123 : @Bongo the Sane : As Verbalrob said its the same as it is now, the main thing for me at the minute is games and the price, currently Sony is showing better on both (though i still need a little more incentive to get one on launch Steam is just too good value right now i don't fancy paying the inevitable £50-60 for launch titles)
Verbalrob : @Bongo - That's not a U-turn, that's just continuing on with the current system.
Bongo the Sane : Well now kids, Sony do a U-turn. DRM by the back door.Tretton interview on Polygon. They're wiping their hands clean and leaving DRM to the publishers.
chris ho : is fucking awesome!
Duffstuff123 : yeah The paying for online thing sucks but as both have it meh PS+ is currently better value then Xbox Gold so if they continue that + Cheaper console (significantly) + Games they have my money
PINKe : I don't know if Sony won the console war, but they did win the appreciation of fans with the used game topic.
PINKe : Was is just me or did the demos and trailers during the Sony conference look dull and hazy? especially when compared to the ones shown during Microsofts conference.
PINKe : Look up The Divison, by UBISOFT. Not too shabby.
PINKe : How many PS4 fans are aware that they have to stat paying to play online multiplayer games.
Duffstuff123 : Well Sony just won the console war
Verbalrob : I think 'large chunk of hardware' is the nicest thing I've ever heard said about Kinect.
Jonmau5 : *good
Jonmau5 : Rob, that's a really goo point.
The Truth Preacher : Very little difference in cost but a lot in hardware. You'll be missing a large chunk of hardware bundled with each Xbox.
Verbalrob : At $5 a month you would be paying $60 for a year of PS+ which when added to the cost of the PS4 is still cheaper than the XboxONE.
The Truth Preacher : Sony is spinning you all. ** No free multiplayer. ** Xbox One comes with one full year of Xbox Live FREE! What price difference?
UtraMan Oden : Been Xbox whole gen... maybe now?
UtraMan Oden :
UtraMan Oden : ps4 drop the mic!
Jason Goll@!#!!er : Also ps4 a hundred dollars cheaper than kinect box
Jason Goll@!#!!er : Play station plus 5 bucks a month for ps4,used games ok, play offline if you want...Gaiki ps3 games, but not sure about renting games yet?? Looks like Sony is winning e3. wait, are they getting D4?
DukeSkath : In case anyone just wants E3 trailers, here's a list: «link»
Jason Goll@!#!!er : D4, you're killing me. Please, don't be exclusive!
Jonmau5 : Just today? Steam is bucks off something every day! Would be son good from our points of view if the next gen consoles went for more Steam-esque sales!
Jason Gol@!er! : KenRouZero, few bucks off on steam today
Jonmau5 : Bioshock Infinite is good! Why was I originally so down on this?
woody : chers jason
Jason Gol@!er! : Hey Woody, it should be on MoJo, their new name.
TheDaddy : Get The Last Of Us and God Of War Ascension for £44 using a code from here «link»
TheDaddy : Get The Last Of Us and God Of War Ascension for £44 using a code from here
woody : Anyone remember the darksouls podcast metioed on OS-connection? cant find it on itunes.
woody : 95 even though gamespot gave it 80!!
Jason Goll@!#!!er : Last of Us/out of 52 reviews a solid 95!
Jason Gol@!er! : Get ready for the "Dragon Shout", in South Park: The Stick of Truth!
This will be my last entry for some time. My adventures have become more frequent, and I fear the path ahead will not leave time for describing my travels. So much has happened since last time, I scarcely know where to start.
Earlier this week the Washington Post published a new report about PRISM, a secret program in which tech companies have been handing over massive information about users to the National Security Agency (NSA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
The National Security Agency and the FBI are tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio and video chats, photographs, e-mails, documents, and connection logs that enable analysts to track foreign targets, according to a top-secret document obtained by The Washington Post.
But don’t think you’re getting away with anything, Brits:
London’s Guardian newspaper reported Friday that GCHQ, Britain’s equivalent of the NSA, also has been secretly gathering intelligence from the same internet companies through an operation set up by the NSA.
