Verbalrob : Annoyingly it's not surprising really. It seems to be pretty standard for company's to make it really easy to get in but difficult to get out.
stulec52 : I tried that before rob. Took 2 phone calls, each over 30 mins, ended up having to cancel that credit card and get a new one. Arse.
Verbalrob : As long as you remember you can cancel it towards the end of the 3 months.

PINKe : I've been reading up on Microsofts abilities to make the Xbox One's TV feature work. It's looking a little iffy. Especially for day one release.

Duffstuff123 : @Bongo the Sane : As Verbalrob said its the same as it is now, the main thing for me at the minute is games and the price, currently Sony is showing better on both (though i still need a little more incentive to get one on launch Steam is just too good value right now i don't fancy paying the inevitable £50-60 for launch titles)

Duffstuff123 : yeah The paying for online thing sucks but as both have it meh PS+ is currently better value then Xbox Gold so if they continue that + Cheaper console (significantly) + Games they have my money
PINKe : I don't know if Sony won the console war, but they did win the appreciation of fans with the used game topic.
PINKe : Was is just me or did the demos and trailers during the Sony conference look dull and hazy? especially when compared to the ones shown during Microsofts conference.

Verbalrob : At $5 a month you would be paying $60 for a year of PS+ which when added to the cost of the PS4 is still cheaper than the XboxONE.

Earlier this week the Washington Post published a new report about PRISM, a secret program in which tech companies have been handing over massive information about users to the National Security Agency (NSA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The National Security Agency and the FBI are tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio and video chats, photographs, e-mails, documents, and connection logs that enable analysts to track foreign targets, according to a top-secret document obtained by The Washington Post.

But don’t think you’re getting away with anything, Brits:

London’s Guardian newspaper reported Friday that GCHQ, Britain’s equivalent of the NSA, also has been secretly gathering intelligence from the same internet companies through an operation set up by the NSA.
