If you’re one of the cool people wasting hours and hours on the Battlefield of Bad Company 2, you’ll be happy to know there are two new maps available! Actually, they’re old maps available in new game modes. Arica Harbor, which was previously available only in Rush and Squad Deathmatch, is now playable in Conquest mode. And Laguna Presa, previously a Conquest and SDM map, is now available for Rush.

Recently Overflow — a Japanese game developer who makes, shall we say, “risque games” — have recently released their latest game, Cross Days, an interactive novel in which you can affect the outcome via decisions you make in the game. Let’s just say the developers have come up with a creative way of dealing with people trying to play their game illegally.

Well 2010 seems to be a year when all the major publishers are trying to be innovative, and bring something new to the table, so I thought I would take a look at what’s coming up in 2010 in a little more detail, and decide on what will be grabbing our cash, and what will end up back on the video game scrapheap along with the Nintendo Virtual Boy. |
