The world of video games is abuzz with the news that Infinity Ward and Sludge Hummer Games made the same boneheaded mistake that TreyArch made in leaving the Stopping Power perk out of the game.
As a result, the M16 — which requires pinpoint accuracy to be effective — requires two perfectly-placed bursts, instead of one, to kill an enemy. Meanwhile, the enemy can just hold down the trigger of their SCAR or whatever crappy fully-automatic gun they’re using, and you die.
Therefore the unanimous opinion of the gaming world is that the game sucks.*
* Not really, but this stupid mistake makes the M16 pretty much useless, which is annoying and really pisses off those of us who like using it.

You wrote a whole blog post on this, what are you like MR P?
Apparently there is a new assault rifle which is short-burst and very high-powered, like the M16 used to be. I’ll look into that, once I’ve finished Skyrim. So, you know.. Six months from now.
all guns in mw 3 deal damage basicly as if they allready had stopping power. m16 still kills in 2 rounds at close range , 3 at long.
however I’m convinced hit detection is worse than it was in mw 2 which may be a factor if your not the host and or have a low ping.
