Valve is stepping up with yet another video game innovation: Steam Greenlight.
Steam Greenlight is a new system that enlists the community’s help in picking some of the next games to be released on Steam. Developers post information, screenshots, and videos for their game and seek a critical mass of community support in order to get selected for distribution. Steam Greenlight also helps developers get feedback from potential customers and start creating an active community around their game as early in the development process as they like.
Could be interesting. What do you think?

Its a great idea, as a steam user myself its very frustrating when a game i want isn’t on steam (for a while i only had my mac for games (had an xbox but no PC), its pretty annoying when there is a limited enough selection for mac as it is, but when there is a mac version of a game you want out there and you can only get it via an extremely expensive retail disk its very frustrating) Valve seems like they might have solved the issue as long as they aren’t strict on what can be submitted in theory at least lets see what they can do, if not it will be a great to see the progress of some innovative games, it appears like another Valve win
