They read my thing and gave me exactly what I want. The sad thing is that I will certainly spend ten times more on my Skyrim house than I ever do improving my actual home.
Thanks to @DTripney for the link.

WTF!? I thought that it was bad enough trying to get a decent place to live in Minecraft but this is a whole new level!
When I first saw this I thought it was a joke – MineRim? SkySims? Then I googled it and found out either it’s real or else every gaming site on t’internet has fallen for it. In 175 hours of Skyrim I bought 1 house, and that was just so I had somewhere to dump my gear.
I suppose the great thing about Skyrim is that it can be so many different types of game depending on what you like. For me it’s all about the magic and to a lesser extent alchemy. For others it’s melee, crafting, exploration, archery and even homebuilding.
Even if I was able to get this I probably wouldn’t bother, but considering we PS3 peeps are still waiting for Dawnguard with no release date announced yet, I can’t see this one coming our way for a very long time.
Yeah it’s quite bogus that the PS3 doesn’t even have Dawnguard yet. I would be okay with them holding off on this until that comes to pass.
Finally, I’ve always been one for the small details of my house (rearranging pots and things) and every standard skyrim house always seems to be lacking in one thing. Now I can create my own house the way I want it, now excuse me while I disappear from society again for weeks!
It’s interesting to hear the various points of view on Hearthfire. I can totally see how a lot of players would just forgo it completely if it’s not their thing. It does seem to fit the Skyrim ethos though; it’s your game, your character, your journey, etc. I think it’s great personally. I was saying to Duke yesterday that I fully intend to play Dawnguard at some point -seems fun enough- but in a game so full to bursting with content, more content isn’t really what I need right now. Hearthfire actually gives you something new. Cool new customization options. New ways to play. Plus it’s only $5. (400 points) I’m all in.
Wow, maybe the PS3 won’t ever get Dawnguard..
“This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.”
5 bucks..SOLD.
I’m with Burr Salem on this. I’ve got so much left to do in Skyrim that Dawnguard is right at the end of the long list, but this I’m getting!
I have also read that presser about Dawnguard possibly never coming to PS3 so I can only assume Bethesda are big fans of Homer Simpson – “If it’s hard, it’s not worth doing”
