According tothe EU PlayStation Blog, a new F2P RPG for PS Home is coming. It will allow you to “customise your armour, weapons and spells to suit your play style” and explore “vast world and dungeons, fighting beasts, collecting items and completing quests”.
It also features “huge worlds and a depth of narrative that have yet to be explored on the platform”. Consider how PS Home has never had any narrative depth (or any narrative, really), this isn’t saying much. But it is an interesting idea.
And guess what it’s called? Mercia. Sounds a lot like this other thing.

There’s only one sure fire way to make a new RPG shit and that’s do it in Home. At worst it will be a broken mess, at best a beardy sex pest nerd fest.
