Fake Modern Warfare 2 Easter Egg Made Me lol

Clearly fake, but very funny, especially as I remember old ladies coming out and shouting at us in this very way, when I was a kid.

What I don’t remember is them sporting an AK47 machine gun, maybe my memory is just a bit hazy, due to my age.

Anyway, nice bit of work by whoever made it.


I’m a Stupid Man with Skillz: Why MW2 > Braid

I’ve always thought of myself as a somewhat intelligent person. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Literature, and a Master’s Degree in English Education. I’ve read lots of literature, I challenge myself to take on complex philosophical, political, and theoretical texts by authors like Russell, Chomsky, Zizek, Haraway, and Hayles.

Yet apparently I’m way too stupid to figure out the puzzles in Braid.

Modern Warfare 2 players with sharp eyes may have noticed a couple of visual elements in the new “Carnival” map which suggest an homage to the movie Adventureland, directed by Greg Mottola (who also did Superbad).

5 Things the Sledgehammer Call of Duty game could be

We all know that there has been some drama over at Activision, but, from all that drama we’ve learnt that the newly formed developer Sledgehammer games will be working on a Call of Duty game, set to be released in 2011. Activision have said that Sledgehammer are working to “extend the franchise into the action-adventure genre.” However the “action-adventure genre” is very broad when concerning video games. So I thought it would be fun to look at what the future may hold for Call of Duty.
