Nintendo Posts First Loss in Decades

Australia May Finally Adopt R18+ Game Rating

Good news for our Aussie mates: Canberra will soon be allowing an R18+ rating for mature video games.

According to Gamasutra, the government is preparing to approve a long-awaited over-18 rating for games intended for adults only.

Miyamoto on the Female Species

Looks like Nintendo game guru Shigeru Miyamoto shed more light on the mindset of game developers than he intended to recently, when he made this intriguing comment about how cats are like girls.

This explains a lot about how females are portrayed in games (coughcoughLaraCroftcough).
