Valve is stepping up with yet another video game innovation: Steam Greenlight. Steam Greenlight is a new system that enlists the community’s help in picking some of the next games to be released on Steam. Developers post information, screenshots, and videos for their game and seek a critical mass of community support in order to get selected for distribution.

Well, it looks like the Mac is finally going to get some decent games. Valve recently announced that they are working on a Mac OSX-native version of their popular game-delivery architecture Steam.

This week, while most people are at EuroGamer, GHRocker and I will be playing Team Fortress 2 on Steam. Valve has done an excellent job of optimizing it to run on every system (even the Mac), so if you’ve got a computer you’ve got no excuse! Join us!
