If you could, what classic 8-bit, or 16-bit game would you remake for the PS3 and 360, and why?

SYNDICATE

The GTA series is overrated, puerile violence-porn. Discuss.

Also the gameplay is crap. And while we are at it RDR's story may have been great but the game play was also crap

What horror or sci-fi book, or series, would you like to see made into a game?

Enders game?
Currently playing:
Ps3 Skyrim, Borderlands 2
360 Red dead redemption, Farcry 3
Ios Tower Defense lost earth
DS various Final Fantasy games

Here's one..

A) I know where people spawn in the online 'game X' so me and my mates will set up covering those areas and spend all day shooting players as they appear - Guaranteed max leveling up with no risk. Nothing wrong with that. The game lets you do it, so what the heck.

B ) It's wrong to do it. It's not the game's Intentsion and it ruins the experience for the players who try to join the game only to get killed the second that they appear.

Are game developers trying to do too much? For example, do we really want a FPS where you can change the sex, lips stick, shoes, hats, have stickers on guns. OR Do you want a shooter which has a solid structure, better online experiance, longer single player? I just think developers loose focus and chuck any old s*** in just to make it sound unique.
