Demos are awesome. They almost always put me off buying a game ( some exeptions). And with an ATS list as long as mine i need as many reasons not to buy a game as possible.

I agree 100%. It also enabled me to play as much of Duke Nukem as I ever wanted to. Just enough to understand what people were talking about and to pick up a turd out of the toilet and throw it at a wall. It was never gonna be worth paying £40 just to do that.

Not all demos are a good representation of the final game, I played the RE5 demo and really hated it, played the full game and really enjoyed it.

My favourite site for reviews is Ign and eurogamer but I don't just read the journalists review but for a better insight I prefer 'readers reviews' which I find more insightful, it's like who wants to be a millionaire ,ask the audience!

I tend to agree with alot of the reviews on Giant Bomb. I used to visit Game Revolution but they shafted the guy that set up the site over 15 yrs ago so I have boycotted them. Their reviews were honest though.

The best reviews are, of course, the player reviws, as found on the likes of Amazon, and Gamefaqs.com:
