How to Post YouTube Videos

If you'd like to drop a YouTube video into a post, here's how: Just click the "YouTube" button on the top right on the new message text box, and then insert the video ID number from the YouTube clip in between the tags.

For example, the AWESOME video I made about our summer holiday is at the following URL:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTJWDCcLBE8

The video ID number is the one after the = sign. In this case, KTJWDCcLBE8. (Be careful, because lots of times the URL will have extra embed code or reference info.. Generally speaking, when you get to the first & sign, stop copying.)

To embed my awesome summertime video in a message, I just drop it between the YouTube tags:

Voila! The video is embedded like-a so:
