Hi everyone at veteran gamers

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself before I post on the main boards. I'm an older gamer  who loves everything video game related. However my favourite system of choice is the Sony playstation portable. I'm a huge portable games console follower and am loving my 3DS at the moment, it's a great little system. We have just about every console on the present market in our house. :o

I'm also an avid games collector (specialising in portable consoles). Hoping to get into some great discussions about game related topics with you guys. See you around the boards.

I loved my Psp and was always annoyed about the bad rep it had for games which were never as bad as everyone made out. I have an xperia play that's covers all my mobile gaming needs now. For me, the ps1 and snes emulators will keep me happy for years alone and OnLive is about to take it even further. I assume you're looking forward to the vita then? Welcome to the boards HotFuzz.

Welcome fella. There's a Vita thread here you'll enjoy. Only a week to go until it's released! Well, in Japan.

Thanks for the replies guys! loving the HotFuzz movie clip......As this is my favourite comedy movie hence my user name. ;)
Yes the psp is a very misunderstood piece of gaming history and there will never be one just like it, I have a special place in my gaming heart for the UMD game/movie format too. Iv'e been collecting for the system for over 5 years and have amassed a great library of over 200 games and 400 UMD movies from varies regions. I still like to play home console games though,PS3 over Xbox 360. Can't wait to get my hands on the MGS HD collection. Here's some pics of my collection if anyone's interested.

All I can say is wow Hot Fuzz. What a collection. At some point I'll have to pick your brains about your favourite / most overlooked games so I can dust my psp off. Very impressive my man!

Very impressive collection there, HF. You shouldn't be living here, you should be in Japan!

Cheers buddy! Just noticed on your sig that you play super stardust HD? What a great title! I've spent many a hour playing myself, the psp version is also a great game too, will almost certainly be getting the PSVita version for sure. ;)

Just found this another awesome clip!! This time from shaun of the dead!
