Finished last night.

What a show.

One, if not the best games and storylines I have ever experienced.

Enjoy peeps.

How long did it take you to finish? I seem to remember 25-30 hours for each of the first 2 games but I'm 19 hours into ME3 and it feels like the end is still a long way off.

Hi Phil,

Just checked Raptr and it has me at 50 hours including the DLC. Gulp.

I'm not the fastest. I leave no stone unturned, no conversation unfinished, no planet unvisited and no chat up line untried....twice.

Really doesn't seem like 50, didn't want it to end.

If you are making the 'final push' soon leave plenty of time. I started it about 9pm last night and finished at 1am! Intense.

Have you seen Bioware have announced today they're doing DLC to offer an improvement on the ending following all the negative criticism? So they get to say they listen to fans' feedback and generate some cheeky extra revenue at the same time. Not sure how I feel about this :?

There's bugger all wrong with the ending.

Bloody wimps. It's like an American blockbuster movie for them, it has to have a (damn it, can't finish this sentance, spoilers). perfect happy ending or else it's crap.

Makes my blood boil.

I welcome DLC. I want to spend more time in this universe.

Just finished it. Literally.

I think I have a new all-time favourite game (admittedly the previous holder of the title was ME1). Just magnificent.

Gameplay-wise I couldn't fault it. ME1 had the driving and lifts which were moderately annoying and a really bad autosave system, ME2 fixed those but added the terrible planet-scanning, but there is just nothing about this third game that I don't love.

To that part of the internets complaining about the ending I say poo to you. The ending is beautiful, poetic and emotionally satisfying and I love it. What it is not is a nice neat check list of everything explained, everyone's fate revealed and grand Return of the Jedi-style galaxy-wide jubilation. Thankfully. I approached the ending with trepidation after all the controversy, and I left it emotionally drained as the end credits rolled. Glorious.

Now to start all over again as my renegade FemShep - think I'll wait for the patch so I can import her properly though.

Finished this last night, and I agree, what the hell was all the bitching about the ending? It was emotional, there was closure, there was choice, it kept with the spirit of the game and storyline. I'm not sure what other players expected unless it was something along the lines of what Bioware did with the Dragon Ages, ie a bit before the credits saying 'this character went on to do this and this one is now doing that'. I feel sorry for the developers because it's a fantastic trilogy and didn't deserve such a hysterical backlash.

And the face import patch has arrived.

My FemShep has been resurrected and is ready to kick reaper butt. It'll be interesting to see what changes compared to my BlokeShep playthrough since this time round I will have Kaidan instead of Ashley, no rachni queen, Wrex still alive etc

And what about the FemShep romance option? It was Kaidan in ME1 and Garrus in ME2 - I wonder if I can convert Steve Cortez?

Here we go again...
