You've just been overcome with Speccy nostalgia from posting in the birthday thread. When you witness Sackboy uppercutting Kratos tomorrow all that will change.

Another new reveal next week?

From Eurogamer's Battle Royale preview...

"We'll come to that in a minute, but first it's worth considering the people responsible. The fertile creative community Sony has fostered around its Santa Monica base is notable not just for big ticket blockbusters like Uncharted and God of War, but increasingly also for leftfield, commercially risky experiments it funds and allows to flourish. Put it this way: without Sony there would be no Journey. And there's another under-wraps oddity - to be revealed next week - which once again highlights the company's laudable support for new talent."

Ok, it sounds like they're referring to The Unfinished Swan.

Feel the hype!

http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/11127.html

"E3 is just around the corner, and we're already pumped for Sony's press conference.

Sony is enticing the entire world by announcing their plans for this year's major industry event. First and foremost, they say they will announce "the future of gameplay and innovation," which has gotten people talking.

Many like to assume this statement is in reference to the new PlayStation console, the PS4. Others just say they're talking about new software titles, which might make more sense at this particular moment in time. At any rate, Sony also says they'll show off over "20 new gaming experiences," which certainly implies some exclusive fireworks. You can probably expect a bunch of new game announcements for the Vita, as Sony continues to throw their weight behind the new portable.

Furthermore, if you plan on attending, Sony will have over 200 playable kiosks for you to test out upcoming software. For the past few years, many have agreed that Sony won the day at E3 (for a variety of reasons); might they wow everyone again...?"

Just what does "The future of gameplay and innovation" mean? PS4? Surely not. Vita/PS3 cross-platform play? Perhaps.

And over 20 new games! :D
