Sacred 2

Thinking about picking up sacred 2 for PS3. Reviews seem to swing wildly. Has anyone here played it?

I play it for xbox, good game, old school style of rpg, text conversations and basic controls but enjoyable

Had it for the PS3 on a loaner. I played as the wood elf, which was a ranged/melee character.

Feels a little clumsy on console but, trust me, you are getting a HELL of a lot of game for your money.

If it has co-op or similar, let me know; I'll make a new character to run about with you. I think my copy is in the back of the cupboard. Might try the Seraphim.

EDIT: I brought my own copy, which is why I have it. I didn't steal the loan copy. I am an honest Lizard.

As do I, but looking in the back of the cupboard scares me. Spiders and ghosties live there.

Yes, it does have co-op -- drop in drop out, in fact.. I've had a lot of fun with S2, but it's very much a lootfest. Lots of managing stuff and point arranging. Once you get used to it, though, it's pretty smooth. I like the fact that there are lots of little missions rather than a few huge ones.
